Finding The Meaning Of Feelings

I come to the point. Theory is one thing very well and useful, but anemic. Theory is neither fish nor fowl not warm or cold.

The humans need feelings to act and in order to act humans need movement in their feelings. And once achieved, then….

Emotions are like streams of flowing water. There is a source from which they come. A small underground source feeds a small stream, the longer it flows inside the human, the flow grows feeded from other parts strengthening the feeling to a power until the current breaks through to the surface of consciousness, where the mind tries to appear in the role of a bandmaster, behaving as if he had commanded this breakthrough now.

Every feeling has a meaning, has one source from which it springs. And to understand the meanings of feelings, we need to find their sources.

Exercise: I imagine my feelings as a lake. I follow one of the tributaries to its beginning. I am getting to the source letting me drag. Don't go!

Arrived at the source I start a free association. What goes through my mind? What happened to this source? The associations show me explanations for the origin of the emotion, show meanings.

The way that you temper Emotions with Reason, will have taken you to the Golden Mean, I am sure.

You will have enjoyed the bright Sun of the East.

And it will have changed you forever.

Right?

Hello a.v.c., First of all, thank you for commenting on my post.

Second: I think we are all on a journey around the circle. So I have enjoyed the bright sun of the east - yes, but the sun's journey goes on.

I think, all changes, and there is no way back to the past.

Yes, true.

It is now in the South, with all of its difficult aspects.

Hello a.v.c.: Let's assume I were in the south.
What are the difficult aspects you see? What is wrong with the south? And which direction you prefer and why. I am curiously.

There is nothing wrong with the South and I prefer nothing above anything else.

However, the South is fire, energy, the weeding out of the weak; paving the way for the evolution of new temporal forms to contain the force again, but after another manner.

The Sun of the South, Set, Saturn.

Necessary to the whole, but not always easy to accept on the microcosmical level.

Hello a.v.c. Thank you for sharing this insights regarding the south.
Paving the way for evolution, this sounds great.
In the future I will write several post about the directions, but not now. Maybe I will find some pieces of further infomation on your blog?

Feelings are like experiences you choose to learn from and move on. Emotions are like ego experiences you permit to control you and distract you from truth you know in your soul.

Dear liara,

thank you for explaining the difference to me. The difference in meaning between the french rooted words and the anglo saxon rooted words are not always clear to me. So I learn from you.
