The Gift Of The Eagle

In a time when species are dying out because man invades the habitat of nature more and more we will perhaps again experience lonely times. According to the myths of the Eskimos, people got a gift from the Eagles. There was an eagle in human form and he took a human being into his training camp. There the man was instructed from the old mother eagle how to celebrate festivals, to beat the drum , to build a festival house building and more. So the eagle liberated the people of the loneliness and gave them culture.

If the last wild species has died on Earth and there will be only GM crops, then we will encounter no eagle in a human form any more - Monsanto's engineers haven't mastered the shape change and they do not bring any culture. When the last wild plant is gone and the last wild eagle died, there will be spreading a spiritual desert, we are hardly able to visualize by now. So yes to diversity.

Yes to diversity of thought, the species, cultures and spiritual paths.

I LOVE it! In one of Ken Carey's books, it says something like: "Don't teach one spiritual path, but rather, create an atmosphere where 10,000 spiritual paths can flourish". I don't remember where I read it.

There is always some truth behind myths, some knowledge which one received from the heavens to share with eternity... that tale will now live forever in my mind... it will grow into thought and escape into freedom... These words inspired a great vision. One in which we are journeying towards... it is this vision this myth which brings forth possibilities and salvation... so yes indeed to diversity of thought, cultures and indefinitely to a species on a spiritual path!
