Rain in May

And soon the beautiful sunshine will be gone and the rain will com. In May I think, the song Rain in May fits every rainy occasion. I like it.

I remember some cleaning meditation. I dealt with hurt feelings. In particularly serious emotional injuries, I saw before my inner eyes desert areas and scorched earth, before I started with the cleaning. When the cleaning was successfully completed a rain started, which I had not deliberately visualized. In my imagination it was raining and all the withered earth, all the desert landscapes awoke back to life.

Many cultures view water or rain as a purification symbol. Hollywood movie directors and story book writers use water to explain or transition within their work. I love how you describe your experience. You may not have deliberately visualized "the cleansing" perhaps, but I think the rain and water "came" for you...

I will remember this...

Hi there - after my father's funeral last year the heavens opened up and we drove home in very heavy rain. It seemed so appropriate to us all - the area had been having a long drought and Dad's last few months had been very difficult - and it just seemed "right"

Thanks for your post - Robin
