Tranquility

Tranquility is power.

Who goes to work knows the problem. All colleagues want support, and most likely, the result has to be delivered yesterday. Regarding to IT projects, we know that many mistakes could be avoided, and much effort could be saved if you are describing the requirements properly at the beginning of a project without any haste. The more accurate and thorough a requirement is described, the less needs to be changed later on. Late changes mean that the work already done once again must be tackled in order to adapt to new requirements and in one fell swoop, you have more work because you did not take enough time at the beginning.

If you are in a hurry, go slow, this wisdom proves in real life. If I hurry, then I assume to have not enough time. This hectic and stress transfers to the body, who will be more vulnerable for mistakes. Failures slow me and amplify my feeling of having not enough time. Maybe I will now be even unfriendly against fellow human beings, who respond with blocking me and then I won't come with my doing any more in the flow. I'm trapped in a vicious circle.

Haste costs a lot of energy

* Energy is equal to 0.5 times mass times velocity squared. The faster I will move, the more energy I need, because the energy increases in the square of the speed.

* From the cars we know there is a optimal speed at which the cars consume less fuel.

* "At a speed of 85 km/h most vehicles fit on a highway mileage. Source: Will say that the speedster cause our traffic jams on the highways, where the fuel then is consumed useless.

Tranquility gives power

* Walking is the most gentle fitness-sport. The body will not wear as in extreme sports so that you can walk for years.

* In yoga exercises you can reach astonishing stretching effects by imperceptibly expanding day by day your ability to stretch.

* Learning works best when we are relaxed.

If you look in your life, you will find many examples where you're faster progress if you calmly approach to things.

Your reflections encourage readers to rethink assumptions about what they need and when. Human beings often think based on what they're told to do rather than learning to think for themselves. Nature reminds us to listen to ourselves differently. Your views evolve.

Dear Ray, it seems you write words I need to hear... I will not bore you with details... lets just say I work in a fast paced environment... as of lately I have been struggling with the balance of stress and tranquility...

Your words make perfect sense. They offer an insight into a solution. Thank You for your thoughts... I will reflect more...

Dear enreal,

thank you for sharing this personal comment. I wouldn't have guessed that only by reading your marvelous poems.
