The water of life IV

"The third place is the place of faith. At that place the Nangi has the shape of a dark blue fish and is situated in the water. The traveler follows the path to Nangi in the lake. When he has arrived at the Nangi he finds out that the water is warm and shallow. Pray to your God. The gods of the ancestors are gone off, but the Nangi shows the grandchildren in which direction a request to could be send to their gods. Whoever there ask for a favour, it will be granted, if the request is filled by the spirit of love."

"The fourth place is the place of death. Here the people come to let go and to say good bye. Whenever a change in life occurs and things are left behind, we must clean our soul so that things abandoned are no longer provided with life force and proliferate inside uncontrollably. The traveller will find no Nangi. A Nangi would not want to live in such a place. The traveler finds at the beach a staircase leading to a rock pool. Here the people go into the water and think of the things they leave behind. The water clean them. The people follow the staircase, first in the water, and then back out."

"The fifth and last place at the lake of the ancestors may have the most beautiful Nangi, a white elephant. The White elephant stands for prosperity but not to waste or abundance. An elephant is a strong animal, but nothing is wasted on him. Poor people go to the white elephant. From the trunk of the white elephants there is constantly running water of the lake. The traveller is wetted with water of the white elephant and all the psychological barriers spoiling all opportunities to find prosperity will disappear.

These five places for health, power, connection to God, cleaning for change and prosperity were visited by the people and they can even today be visited by everyone in the form of a dream trip. But do you know why there were only five places?

to be continued ......

It is dream-like and ethereal, more philosophical than material, One has to be able to discern the meanings of the symbolic words. You will have to explain it to me.

Do you know these are the articles that we usually discuss in my precious Philosophy classes. Thanks for sharing.

Dear jena, you are right the character is dream-like, something you can try to find in your own dreams. Maybe the symbolic words are not so important but to look inside and find the gifts of your ancestors.
Each generation will add his own new meaning.
Blessings to the Kalinga Woman ;-)
