Happiness

"Thousands and thousands of rivers flow into the sea,
but the sea is never full --
and could man transform stone to gold,
his heart is never satisfied. "

From China

Since the fifties, the prosperity of the Germans grew fourfold, but the satisfaction and happiness have not grown. Prosperity has not made us happy, because true happiness must come from within.

In comparison with the whole world, prosperity and education bring at least health, and so the Germans are in comparison with poorer countries happier, according to the University of Leicester.

I absolutely agree Ray, happiness must come from within. A person who knows how to appreciate and be thankful for the things that he has, is happier.

Not wealth, fame, or beauty could make you happy. Happiness is a state of the mind.

Thanks for a very powerful message.

She's my granddaughter Ray. Isn't she adorable? I'm satisfied with what I have, that's why I'm happy. I have very simple needs. How are you> I hope everything is well. God bless.

No doubt, happiness can never be found in the external.
