I was tagged again... Questions around books


ASHMODAI tagged Luiza and posed her some questions around books. I was tagged by Luiza and here I am with this post.

The questions are:

Paperback or hardback?

Mainly paperback, however I do like more hardcover books.

Amazon or bookstore?

Both. And used books which often are in good condition are a cheap alternative.

Dog-ear or bookmarks?

Bookmarks. Dog-ear are not aesthetically.

Sort by author, title or disorganized?

Sorted by subject areas.

Keep or sell?

Keep or give away.

Keep book jacket or discard?

Keep.

Read with book jacket or read without?

I read very quickly every book jacket in no time ... hihihihi.

Short story or novel?

The main thing is, that my attention is hooked, it could be reports or non-fictional text.

Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket?

Unfortunately I have not read both, hihihihihi ....

Stop when tired or when the chapter is finished?

When I read the end first, then I can always stop when I'm tired.

"The night was dark and stormy "or" There was once "?

I read fairy tales much less ....

Buy or borrow?

As a rule I buy the books, then I can decide free when to spend time reading.

New or used?

Both.

Buy: bestseller list, reviews, recommendation or browse?

I'm looking for recommendations or search the books according the question that I ask myself.

Closed End or Cliffhanger?

No preference.

Read in the morning, noon or night?

If I have time ......

Single book or series?

From a certain point in time series start follow a pattern and than I'm bored. Until then, I read a series just as well as single books.

Favorite book of someone never heard?

Of this I have never heard .....

Favorite book you've read last year?

In the last year I had no favorite book.

Which book are you currently reading?

Platon works in parts ....

Absolute favorite book of all time?

Criminal history of Christianity

Favorite authors?

Karlheinz Deschner, Hermann Hesse, Jack Campbell, Tom de Marco, Hochhuth, Engelmann .. and many more.

I love old books. I go to used book stores just to inhale that old book smell. It is comforting, soothing, inspiring...
