I find it quite well that all the people I know get more beautiful / handsome the more I love them. I feel that love has no sense of beauty.
I wonder whether beautiful people would assume that they would be loved, because they are beautiful? It is true that all people are entitled to be loved, but just to be good looking, even if it is the result of much work and skill, it is not a foundation for lasting love ...

the more we get to know a person, the more beautiful he/she becomes in our eyes. this is because we finally get to see the real beauty that radiates from WITHIN. it is now the substance of the person, not the physical looks, that appears before us.
beautiful post Ray... as always!

Hi Ray! We all want to be loved, don't we? I think quite a lot of beautiful people actually can't see their own beauty, and even think they are ugly. I remember that when I was young I was quite pretty, according to photos, but I thought people would think I was an awful person on the inside. Weird, huh?
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly." When we see with the heart we tend to see the beauty of the person inside.
Insightful post Ray.
Wow, THANK YOU for the wonderful post. I was deeply touched by it.
Plus your statement not only explained the human relationships, but shared the light on the mystery of the fine arts too.
The beauty that captivates us in the art showrooms reveals not the perfection of the visual shapes (depends not on the applied artistic techniques), but the spiritual values.
I think the more you love somebody, the prettier they'll appear to you. Beauty can lead to attraction but true love I think is much beyond physical attraction.
Nice blog.
It is true beauty cannot be measured by cultural standards for it is truly in the eyes and heart of the beholder.
Hello Ray,
I hope you're doing fine. It's been quite a while since we've heard from you. Take care.
Where are you, Ray?!
I want to thank you for the word of truth once again.
I linked my today's post to your "Love makes you beautiful, handsome"
and would greatly appreciate your visit and comments on my blog
I want to ask you to include my blog art by Tomas into your blogroll and eagerly look forward to your response.
I would greatly appreciate all your remarks and suggestions on what could be improved on my http://artbytomas.blogspot.com/
Thank you once again
I know people who think they are entitled to everything, not just love, just because they are good-looking. These people tend to lose their beauty, at least for me, the more I get to know them.
Also, I've known people that I didn't think were attractive until I came to know them better and then they became very beautiful to me.
Truly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
You haven't been around for a while (but then, neither have I), I hope that you are well.
Jane
Ray,
Where are you? I hope you're doing fine.
One of the most luminous, beautiful people I've known is now pushing 80. Her fiery soul is starting to wane from the natural exhaustion of living so long, and in very hard circumstances. She is my "chosen mother" -- my true godmother, you could say. The beauty of her is in her ferocious, heroic love, and in her ethical, lucid soul ...
A line from the Tao states that if you regard something as beautiful then another thing must be ugly. Something is needed to make the comparison or distinction.
Ray i hope everything is okay there. you haven't posted for 2 months and that's unusual.
missing your beautiful posts. i hope you will write again.
