Karl waves at me. "Try this."
"What for?"
He sit up straight, stretches his arms forward, bends the hands with the palms forward, positioning thumb to thumb and index finger to index finger. Then he looks through the onion shaped opening between his hands. "From time to time, look in this way through your hands. You connect yourself with the fibers of the world."
"And then, what happens then?"
He shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know. It depends partly on what you are looking for."
"And what am I looking for?"
"What we are all looking for. Fulfillment, healing and freedom."
"What for?"

To gain a deeper understanding of love is essential for the refining of so many spiritual achievements.
Maybe its a male characteristic, to be attracted or lured to spiritual journeys by other things like healing powers or energy.
